The law enforcement official from the central England region has requested an urgent review of the ruling to ban the Israeli team's fans from being present at the upcoming game.
The commissioner, who oversees the police department, states that this request aims to determine whether the ban is appropriate, necessary, justified, sensible, and a proportionate measure to achieve a lawful objective.
"That should involve consideration of every and any possible suitable, alternative options," the official adds.
The commissioner has additionally requested to examine the official ruling and suggestion from the advisory group, as well as the law enforcement evaluation.
He stresses, though, that the final decision belongs to the advisory group and the authorities.
