Head and Duckett have been on opposing sides in the past two Ashes contests.
Australian opener Travis Head disclosed that he reached out to English counterpart Ben Duckett following a online footage circulated purportedly showing the batter in a intoxicated state prior to the Melbourne Test.
Accounts suggested that members of the squad were drinking excessively during a break in the coastal resort of Noosa between the second and third Tests.
One unverified video led to heightened examination on the team and on Duckett specifically.
"I get on with Ducky well reached out to see if he was going alright," commented Head.
"Everyone is still human. Your actions in your personal time is your own business.
"I know we live a very public life and some people are more high profile than others.
"Ultimately, it is a somewhat unfair but I don't think there is any real issue."
Background of the Incident
England's four nights in Noosa followed they had fallen 2-0 down in the Ashes series following losses in Perth and Brisbane.
Multiple media outlets stated that some players were consuming alcohol for a large part of their time on the coastal break, in addition to on two earlier days in Brisbane.
Although they gave an improved performance in the following Test, they were defeated in Adelaide to concede the series to Australia.
The Australian's Viewpoint
Commenting after England's victory in the Melbourne Test, Head added: "I felt envious.
"People has made a lot more out of it than was necessary.
"Our teams have done the same thing on previous tours. I don't have an issue with it."
