A devastating blast at a police station in Indian-administered Kashmir has led to the fatalities of nine individuals and harm to thirty-two more, according to authority reports.
The incident happened when a stockpile of impounded blast substances accidentally blew up during management operations.

The explosion happened on Friday evening at the Nowgam police station, where blast substances confiscated in Faridabad region in the northern province of Haryana province were being kept briefly.
Local police chief announced that the blast materials were pending technical investigation when a "deeply regrettable" incident during handling resulted in their blast at approximately 23:20 local time.
